New cooperation between fedaEDU Barcelona and Hochschule Heilbronn

FedaEDU is renewing its academic profile while strengthening its international focus. Starting in the winter semester 2026/27, it will offer the Bachelor of Arts in International Business programme in collaboration with Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences. This new degree will gradually replace the former Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration programme, which was delivered together with the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen. During the next few years, both programmes will run in parallel, ensuring that students can complete their studies without interruptions or restrictions.

The Heilbronn Education Campus and the emerging AI cluster

The faculty of the International Business degree is located at the Heilbronn Education Campus, a modern campus hosting sixteen universities and research institutions. It is situated close to the newly established Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI). For students, this dynamic environment provides direct access to innovation, research and business practice.

Hochschule Heilbronn as new partner

With more than seven thousand students, the university is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. Its academic profile focuses on technology, business and information technology, offering more than fifty bachelor’s and master’s programmes across four campuses: Heilbronn, Heilbronn Sontheim, Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall. The presence of students from around one hundred nationalities and a network of approximately two hundred partner universities reinforces its strong international orientation.

The new International Business degree

The Bachelor of Arts in International Business is taught entirely in English and is aimed at students who wish to work in international companies. The programme combines business administration with intensive language training and the development of intercultural skills. It prepares students specifically for careers in international business environments and global challenges.

The programme consists of seven semesters with 210 ECTS credits and offers specialisations in Marketing and Finance. It starts in September.

Language training in the new study model

The new Bachelor of Arts in International Business degree provides intensive language training adapted to different student profiles. Students from the German education system with a high level of German receive an intensive programme in Spanish and business English. Students from other education systems, or with limited knowledge of German, receive intensive German training and complete a study or internship period in a German-speaking country during the fifth semester. In this way, the programme ensures that all students are fully prepared, both linguistically and interculturally, to face international studies and professional contexts, while also acquiring solid business knowledge.

The International Business degree is modern and offers a unique opportunity to develop entrepreneurial thinking as well as linguistic and intercultural competencies. Combined with vocational training or taken independently, it provides optimal preparation for working in a globally connected economy.
