Agora Sant Cugat International School has officially inaugurated its new Upper Secondary building, named “Les Alzines”, marking an important milestone in the development of its pre-university educational project.
With nearly 2,000 m² spread across four floors, the building has been designed to offer a modern, functional and sustainable learning environment. Its facilities include interactive classrooms, a 100 m² library, study areas and a cafeteria with a terrace, all of which promote student autonomy, creativity and teamwork.
The project places a strong emphasis on sustainability, incorporating solar panels, 100% LED lighting and energy-efficient systems. The independent entrance to the building provides greater autonomy for Upper Secondary students, while maintaining a seamless connection with the rest of the campus.
During the inauguration event, Upper Secondary students acted as guides and showcased their daily life in the new building, highlighting the positive impact of the new facilities on their learning experience. In addition to the academic building, the event also included the opening of the new football pitch and changing rooms, reinforcing the school’s commitment to promoting sport and student well-being.
This project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration between the school community, Globeducate and local institutions.
The opening of “Les Alzines” strengthens Agora Sant Cugat’s vision as a leading pre-university campus, prepared to offer educational excellence in both the national Upper Secondary programme and the IB Diploma.
