In 2025, EPIC has signed the new collective agreement for non-subsidised regulated private education in Catalonia, together with the trade unions UGT, USOC, and CCOO.
As a representative employers’ association in the sector, EPIC has worked closely with GECOLEM to defend the interests of schools and help achieve a balanced, fair, and viable agreement for all parties.
The new agreement sets out the working conditions for teaching and non-teaching staff in private non-subsidised schools, while also providing an updated legal framework that ensures legal certainty for schools and highlights the value of professional teams.
At EPIC, we believe it is essential to actively participate in collective bargaining spaces to ensure that the voice of private schools is heard and taken into account. This agreement is the result of shared effort and the commitment of all parties to reach a consensus.
